About the role
As a Strategic Buyer, you will work closely with business area leaders, cross-functional teams, and key suppliers to ensure the successful implementation of strategic sourcing decisions. You will execute sourcing and contracting within assigned categories, supporting category and sourcing decisions by identifying and evaluating suppliers according to business needs. The role requires informal leadership skills to chair cross-functional teams.
The position is based at our site in Nynäshamn and is a role that is require onsite work. The role belongs to the Supply Chain Procurement function and is reporting to Category Manager for Plant & Equipment. The scope of the position is pan-European, as the supplier market is primarily European.
Key Responsibilities
Manage supplier relationships and contracts, ensuring compliance and optimal performance
Source and evaluate suppliers for materials, services, and contracts.
Lead bid processes and supplier selection.
Maintain contract administration and align procurement processes with regulatory requirements.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive process improvements
Monitor market trends and risks to ensure procurement strategies remain competitive.
Lead sourcing and category projects to enhance procurement efficiency and value creation.

About you
You have a strong procurement background with experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management.We are looking for a candidate with experience from the process industry or large-scale industrial companies. A background in procurement within manufacturing, energy, chemicals, or similar sectors will be highly valued. We believe you hold an engineering degree or possess equivalent experience. To thrive in this role, you are a proactive and analytical professional with strong communication skills and the ability to drive change in a fast-paced environment.
Your Qualifications:
Knowledge of contracting or materials awareness – familiarity with AB04 and its role in contracting or an understanding of materials, components, and equipment used in industrial projects.
Experience in sourcing, negotiating, and managing both international and national suppliers and contractors.
Interest in and understanding of technical specifications and project requirements.
Skills in bid evaluation, contract drafting, and supplier follow-up.
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, legal, and operational teams in a multicultural environment.
Proficiency in English for business communication; additional language skills are a plus.

Nynas är en verksamhet som är igång 24/7 vilket även innebär beredskap på kvällar, nätter och helger där beredskapen är upplagd efter ett rullande schema. Placeringsort är Nynäshamn. Detta innebär att du då, inom cirka 30 minuter, skall kunna inställa dig på plats. (Man börjar med beredskap efter ca. 6 – 9 mån då man har kommit in i rutinerna).

Nynas Engineering department is looking for a Civil and Structural Engineer, based in Nynäshamn.
About the role
As a Civil and Structural Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department in Manufacturing and report to the head of Project Engineering. The Engineering Department in Manufacturing is responsible for the specification and delivery of capital projects for Nynas, encompassing stand-alone projects, a portfolio of smaller plant additions and modifications, environmental projects, investigations and early phase study work. The team also provides engineering support to the refineries and businesses throughout the Nynas group.
In this role, you will have the responsibility for developing technical solutions within civil and structural discipline for investment projects managed by Engineering. You will participate in engineering projects as an engineer, supporting the project manager through all phases of the project lifecycle, from investigation through to engineering design, installation supervision and final inspection and handover.
Other key responsibilities include:
Prepare project deliverables such as calculations, drawings, and technical documents
Verify and assure the reliability of civil and structural solutions in projects.
Provide input into the Nynas Technical Standards (NTS) for Civil and Structural Discipline and ensure their implementation in projects.
Provide technical guidance and coordinate with other engineers, installation contractors, and maintenance and operation personnel in their daily activities to fulfil project and company objectives
Provide technical support for the procurement of equipment and services, including scope descriptions, equipment specifications, technical bid evaluations, and quality assurance.

About you

Som inspektör är du en del av inspektionsavdelningen, som tillhör raffinaderiets underhållsorganisation. I dagsläget består avdelningen av tre medarbetare samt ett antal konsulter och underleverantörer, beroende på behov. Avdelningen ansvarar för kontroll och besiktning (inspektion) av mekanisk utrustning, främst trycksatt, för att ge en säker och tillgänglig drift av raffinaderiet och att lagar och regler uppfylls.
Som Inspection Engineer ansvarar du för planeringen av besiktning av trycksatt utrustning. Även andra uppgifter förekommer som en del av tillverknings-, installations- och återkommande kontroll.
Några av dina ansvarsområden är:
Inspektion och besiktning av mekanisk utrustning
Registrering av inspektionsdata i PCMS och underhållssystem JDE CAM
Ge stöd vid inköp av ny utrustning
Utreda orsaker till skador eller haverier på utrustning
Samarbeta med underleverantörer inom tredjepartsbesiktning och oförstörande provning

Tjänsten är placerad på vårt raffinaderi i Nynäshamn, cirka 45 minuter söder om Stockholm. Arbetet sker huvudsakligen på anläggningen, men möjlighet finns att arbeta hemifrån vissa dagar beroende på arbetsuppgifter.

Vi söker dig med erfarenhet av inspektion av trycksatt utrustning, gärna med bakgrund inom tredjepartsbesiktning av sådan utrustning. Du har en gymnasie-, högskole- eller civilingenjörsexamen eller gått yrkeshögskola för inspektör. Erfarenhet av oförstörande provning, riskbaserad inspektion (RBI), materialteknik, svetsning, skademekanismer och tung processindustri är meriterande.
Som person är du noggrann, analytisk och självgående, men du har också god samarbetsförmåga då du kommer att arbeta nära kollegor på ingenjörsavdelningen, verkstäder och externa parter som konsulter inom besiktningsområdet. Are you a chemical engineer and think practical work in a lab scale refinery environment sounds interesting? There is currently a vacant position as Pilot Plant Engineer at the Process Technology Department, and we are looking for a person that would like to take part in our development work on finding solutions supporting the transition towards a more sustainable society.
About the role
You will be part of the Process Technology Department which is an R&D department within Manufacturing. Our main assignment is to run development studies related to production of Nynas long-lasting naphthenic specialty oils from both crude based and sustainable feedstocks at utilizing lab-scale units for distillation and hydroprocessing.
The main daily work tasks for a Pilot Plant Engineer involve operation and urgent troubleshooting for all lab-scale units as well as chemical analyses on samples collected during the development studies. Each Pilot Plant Engineer has the main responsibility for one type of laboratory equipment. You will be responsible for the micro reactors including regular maintenance, spare parts, continuous improvement of operations as well as SOP’s and risk assessments for activities related to the equipment. Safety is important at Nynas and you are expected to work in a safe manner according to valid instructions.

We believe that you hold a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, instrumentation and metrology engineering or other relevant training/experience from the process industry. The Engineering Department in Manufacturing is responsible for the specification and delivery of capital projects for Nynas, encompassing stand-alone projects, a portfolio of smaller plant additions and modifications, environmental projects, investigations, and early phase study work. The team also provides engineering support to the refineries and businesses throughout the Nynas group.
About the role
As a Project Manager you will be assigned to one or more projects in the Nynas capital projects portfolio, reporting to the Head of Project Engineering. Projects may include activities in multiple geographical locations, such as Gothenburg or the home office in Nynäshamn.

Nynas Refinery in Nynäshamn is looking for an Advanced Process Control (APC) Engineer to join our Process Technical Services (PTS) team.


As an APC Engineer you will have a critical role in ensuring that the refinery units are operating at maximum capacity with optimal yields and thereby maximizing profit. Dina arbetsuppgifter
Som förråd/lagerarbetare på Nynas kommer dina arbetsuppgifter vara allt från godsmottagning till lagerhantering, leverans på raffinaderiet av gas & kemikalier samt administration.
Som medlem i vårt team är ditt främsta mål att med ett säkert och professionellt förhållningssätt leverera de produkter som efterfrågas av kund, med rätt kvalitet, till rätt kvantitet och inom utsatt tid.

Din profil
Du är utbildad inom lager/godsmottagning eller med minst 4-5 år i yrket och har erfarenhet inom framförallt truckkörning och lagerhantering/ lagerdatasystem.
Din noggrannhet ska märkas i dina arbeten, kvalitet är mycket viktigt och genom ett strukturerat arbetssätt, god planering och rätt prioritering.
Du är glad, positiv samt ordningsam.
En god samarbetsförmåga är en egenskap som värderas högt och vidare bör du ha ett naturligt driv där du kan ta egna initiativ samt att du har en god social kompetens.
Vidare så är ordning och reda en självklarhet för dig, inte bara på förrådet/ lagret utan också i din hantering av administrativa göromål. Vidare är det viktigt med en god grundläggande datorvana och att du kan uttrycka dig i tal väl och skrift på svenska och engelska.

For the Bitumen Technology Department in Nynäshamn, Sweden, we are currently recruiting a development engineer with special focus on feed stock.
As the position holder, you will be part of the Product and Customer support group within Bitumen Technology in Nynäshamn. We are recruiting to long term make sure we have the knowledge needed to meet present and future challenges within the bitumen area.
You will be maintaining a high knowledge related to bitumen and paving and be a communicator within the Nynas organization and to customers. The position includes short term troubleshooting for our customers as well as handling longer term projects. It is important that the position holder is eager to further develop the skills and knowledge within the field.
The position is placed in Nynäshamn and may require limited travelling.
Key responsibilities
·Independently lead technical projects primarily within the area of binder and modified binders.
·Maintain and develop technical knowhow within the binder and asphalt area with regards to development and evaluation.
·The work encompasses practical work, assurance of correct analysis, interpretation and appropriate documentation and communication of results
·Communication of new application and product-knowledge internally
·Be a supporting role for the production within the Nordics
Candidate profile
The successful candidate:
· Has experience from chemical industry or from the paving industry.
· Has at least 5 years of related work experience.
· Holds a degree in chemical engineering or similar and have experience from practical laboratory work.
· Has a strong analytical mindset
· Is a structured and active communicator
· Has an interest in production and the techniques used there
· Is self-reliant, flexible and are used to work independently as well as in teams.

Nynas Refinery in Nynäshamn is looking for an Advanced Process Control (APC) Engineer to join our Process Technical Services (PTS) team.
As an APC Engineer, you will get a critical role in ensuring that the refinery units are operating at maximum capacity with optimal yields and thereby maximizing profit. The responsibilities will be both to manage the existing applications as well as developing new exciting applications. In the PTS department, you will be a part of a team consisting of 7 process engineers and 2 control systems engineers. The department's main mission is to ensure the refinery are operated in an optimal way and, also to find and implement new ideas that will benefit the refinery.
