OM TJÄNSTEN
As a Civil & Structural Engineer at Nynas you will be part of the Project Engineering team, supporting both daily operations and major investment projects at the Nynäshamn refinery. You will work with design and review of foundations, steel and concrete structures, and coordinate technical input across disciplines. The role is varied, combining office-based engineering with site follow-up, ensuring that all projects meet high standards of safety, quality and sustainability.

* Coordinate civil/structural input across disciplines and stakeholders

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
- BSc/MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 3–6 years’ experience in industrial projects
- Strong design and calculation background
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural engineering software
- Experience with BIM and multidisciplinary coordination
- Fluent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
- Swedish citizenship or valid work permit (minimum 1 year left)

It is meritorious if you have
- Experience from refinery, petrochemical industrial projects

Develop and apply best practices for installation and maintenance of Mechanical equipment’s, with a focus on rotating equipment.
Maintain documentation and asset management systems.
Be responsible for the Preventive Maintenance for Mechanical equipment
Coordinate with Engineering department for Project deliveries.
Ensure preventive maintenance strategies are effective and up to date
Lead and support maintenance optimization and reliability improvement project



About you

Requirements needed for the position:
Several years of experience in a similar role within the petrochemical or comparable process industry.
Solid understanding and hands-on experience with mechanical maintenance, particularly rotating equipment.
Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent academic background.
Strong IT skills and experience working with maintenance management systems (CMMS) such as JDE, API, or equivalent.
Fluent in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
Knowledge of Vibration Monitoring, Thermography, and Ultrasound Inspection is a strong advantage.
Experience with compressors is considered a significant merit.

As the Portfolio Manager you manage a portfolio of projectsand act as project manager for projects in a particular portfolio. The portfolios could be in different areas, i.e. sustainability, where strong efforts are made in energy usage and carbon dioxide emissions.
You will be a member of the Engineering management team and you will report directly to the Engineering manager. Nynas Refinery in Nynäshamn is looking for an Advanced Process Control (APC) Engineer to join our Process Technical Services (PTS) team.
As an APC Engineer, you will get a critical role in ensuring that the refinery units are operating at maximum capacity with optimal yields and thereby maximizing profit. The responsibilities will be both to manage the existing applications as well as developing new exciting applications. In the PTS department, you will be a part of a team consisting of 7 process engineers and 2 control systems engineers. The department's main mission is to ensure the refinery are operated in an optimal way and, also to find and implement new ideas that will benefit the refinery.

Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for the APC applications and hardware in Nynäshamn and will be reporting directly to the PTS Manager.
Furthermore, you will:
Maintain and develop existing APC applications
Manage APC projects for new applications
Analyze and improve the performance and usage of the APC applications
Organize and execute training and workshops for engineers and operators
Ensure that the basic control loops are well-tuned and suitable for use in APC applications



Desired Qualifications
As a successful candidate we believe you have the following background:
Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering
Experience as a Process Engineer
Good pedagogic and communication skills
Result Oriented and Goal-Driven
Interest in Control System
Experience of refinery process units are preferred
Process Simulation Experience is preferred

Desired qualifications To be successful in this position we believe you have at ten years’ experience in project engineering and preferably with a certificate in project management. You have a solid technical background in hydrocarbon, chemical or other relevant process industries. Furthermore, we are looking for;• A demonstrable track record of on time, to budget and above all safe project delivery.• Ability to manage change and uncertainty, anticipating problems through good risk management.• Communicate across disciplines, effectively directing work in a matrix organisation.• Skilled at managing a diverse group of stakeholders within and external to your projects.• Experience of managing project execution within tight schedules imposed by plant turnarounds.• You are expected to be able to be a strong communicator, fluent in spoken and written English, it is advantageous to possess a proficiency in Swedish and/or German.
